Proper operation and maintaining a constant, straight tractor speed ensures a perfectly straight ridge. Installation Preparation
Upon receiving the machine, first inspect the components for missing or damaged parts. Then, install the two sets of support wheels and the ground wheel arms in front of the front crossbeam of the frame, with the single sprocket facing either side of the implement.
The distance from the center of the implement is determined based on the ridge spacing.
Next, install the ridging plow in the handle compartment of the rear crossbeam, and the subsoiler and layered fertilizer applicator combination (if equipped) in the shovel handle compartment of the front crossbeam.
Then, mount the left and right fertilizer boxes on the channel steel above the frame and connect the fertilizer pipes. Next, install the left and right intermediate shafts in front of the front crossbeams on both sides of the frame, aligning the sprockets and attaching the chains. Use the tensioner to adjust the tension to the appropriate level.
Finally, install the covering device and marker.
Pre-operation Adjustment
Adjust the frame height by adjusting the height of the support wheels. Generally, the vertical distance between the bottom edge of the support wheels and the upper plane of the support crossbeam is approximately 6 cm.
Adjust the ridging plow depth by moving the plow handle up and down, ensuring that the tips of each plow are at the same distance from the longitudinal beam.
Adjust the opening of the soil divider according to the ridge shape to ensure a full ridge. Adjust the working depth of the subsoiler and stratified fertilizer pipe according to the operation requirements, so that the tips of each subsoiler are positioned in the same plane.
