Tractor-compatible Auger
Structure: The drill stem features a reduction gearbox connection flange at the top, connected to the tractor's power take-off (PTO) shaft via a drive shaft (compatible with the tractor's standard speed of 540 rpm or 720 rpm).

 

Most auger designs feature a double or multi-auger design (suitable for medium-to-large backhoes).

Application: Tractor-mounted or rear-mounted backhoes, used in farmland, orchards, and outdoor projects.

Work Process of Auger Digging Machine

Drilling: First, the drill rig is moved to the designated drilling location.

The verticality and position of the drill rod are adjusted using the control system. The hydraulic motor then activates to rotate the auger rod, while the hydraulic cylinder applies downward pressure, gradually penetrating the soil. As the drill rod rotates, the auger blades lift soil debris along the blades and into the ground, creating a hole.

Trenching: The auger rod used for trenching typically features larger diameter blades and a specially designed drill bit.

During operation, the drill rod rotates and advances along the predetermined trenching path, cutting and transporting the soil to form the trench. The depth and angle of the drill rod can be adjusted as needed to meet varying trenching depths and slope requirements.

How to choose the soil digger earth auger?
1. First, consider the soil type: For normal soil, choose the "standard double auger," for clay, choose the "anti-stick type," and for gravel/rock, choose the "alloy tooth reinforced type."

2. Next, consider the operating parameters: For small-diameter shallow holes, use the "single auger," for medium-diameter regular holes, use the "double auger," and for large-diameter deep holes, use the "multi-auger."

3. Finally, consider the equipment: For tractors, choose the "flange connection type," for portable tractors, choose the "chuck interface type," and for hydraulic equipment, choose the "hydraulic motor type."

Double Pin Cradle hitch: also to be used with excavators fitted with quick hitch, in addition the Cradle hitch can be used to stabilise the Earth Drill whilst travelling around the site and also to aid in the clearing of spoil from the auger.
