Structure and Working Principle
Main Structure: The corn thresher consists of a drum, concave plates, screen, fan, feed hopper, kernel slide, and spiral guide rod.
Working Principle: Corn ears enter the drum through the feed hopper and are threshed by the impact of the high-speed rotating drum and the interaction between the corn ears, drum, and concave plates.
The threshed kernels and fine impurities mostly pass through the concave plate holes and are cleaned by the fan. Light impurities are blown out through the impurity discharge port.
The kernels slide out of the machine on the kernel slide, while the cobs move backward along the drum axis and are discharged from the outlet at the shaft end through the surface of the vibrating screen.
Some kernels entrained in the cobs fall through the screen holes and enter the kernel slide, which then slides out of the machine.
