4U series Potato Harvester is paired with a 20-100hp tractor through rear horsepower or side horsepower transmission. it is used for digging potatoes, separating the tubers from the soil, allowing the potatoes to detach from the roots and reach the ground for easy picking.

 

Equipped with a triangular mixer. Under the PTO transmission of the tractor, the soil and tubers are separated by the vibration of the vibrating screen.

 

The soil falls out in the gap of the vibrating screen, and the potatoes left on the vibrating screen fall to the land behind through the vibration of the vibrating screen.

Adjustable digging depth

Adjust the digging depth (generally 5-10cm deeper than the rhizome), travel speed (faster in sandy soil, slower in clay soil), and vibration frequency (to avoid damage caused by excessive vibration) according to the crop variety (such as potato size and carrot length) and soil conditions (clay/sandy soil).

Fan screening device on harvester

The fan on the harvester blows away light impurities (such as fine soil and dead leaves), or uses a screening device to remove oversized/undersized defective products and retain qualified rhizomes.

Weaken the fan force during cleaning (to avoid blowing off the outer skin).

Separate the rhizomes from the attached soil and straw

Use a vibrating screen, conveyor belt or tooth structure to separate the roots and attached soil and straw (such as garlic leaves and carrot tops).

The conveyor belt is made of soft material (such as rubber) to reduce friction damage.

Blades and coulters inserted into the soil to loosen

The harvester inserts blades and plow blades into the soil, loosening the soil around the plant's roots and lifting the entire plant (including the rhizome) out of the soil. The harvester then transports the entire plant (including the rhizome) to a collection bin (or directly bags or boxes) for easy transportation and processing.
