Working Principle and Main Components: For example, a self-propelled, two-row carrot harvester is driven by a self-propelled rubber track chassis.
Commercial Carrot Digger main working components include the transmission system, digging mechanism, gripping and conveying mechanism, root and leaf separation mechanism, and soil removal and collection mechanism.
As the machine moves, a straw lifter lifts the carrot stems and leaves, while a digging shovel loosens the soil around the carrots. Once the carrots enter the gripping mechanism, they are gripped and lifted by a rubber gripping belt and transported upward. The belt then switches to a horizontal gripping belt for horizontal rearward transport.
The double-disc cutting mechanism separates the roots and leaves, and the carrots fall onto a bar-type soil removal and conveying mechanism for soil removal before being transported to a collection bin.
