Structural characteristics of 1BZ series heavy-duty disc harrow
The 1BZ series heavy-duty disc harrows are characterized by a robust frame, high-performance working components, and a flexible hydraulic control system. These structural designs endow them with strong adaptability and durability in harsh soil preparation operations.
The harrow frame adopts a 120×120×6mm thick-walled seamless steel tube welding structure. This thickened tubular design significantly enhances the overall rigidity and load-bearing capacity of the frame, enabling it to withstand strong impacts when operating in complex plots such as wastelands and heavy clay soil without deformation.
Some models even use 45# steel for the square shaft, which is made through forging, straightening, and heading processes.
This makes the harrow shaft not only wear-resistant but also highly tensile, ensuring stable power transmission during high-intensity operations and a long service life.

The wheels are connected to hydraulic cylinders, forming a hydraulic-tire integrated control mechanism. Operators can flexibly adjust the working depth and offset angle of the disc blades through the hydraulic system.
These tires not only ensure stable movement during operation but also allow the harrow to be directly transported over long distances after operation without additional disassembly, greatly improving transfer efficiency.

1BZ Disc harrow is equipped with a spring leveling mechanism. This mechanism can effectively adjust the level of the harrow during operation, ensuring that the working depth is consistent across the entire working width and avoiding uneven soil preparation caused by uneven terrain.
The bearing part adopts a fully enclosed design with grease fittings.
The enclosed structure can prevent soil, dust, and straw from wrapping around or entering the bearing, while operators can add grease through the grease fittings during daily use.
Some models have front and rear rows of disc blades arranged in a V-shape, and the angle of the blades can be adjusted. This arrangement enhances the effect of stubble cleaning and soil crushing, making the machine more adaptable to different soil preparation requirements such as stubble incorporation and post-plowing soil crushing.

Key points for maintenance of 1BZ disc
After daily homework: Clean the soil and straw on the disc, check the wear of the disc (replace it when the thickness is ≤ 3mm); Inject grease into the bearing (every 8 hours of operation), check for water and soil ingress when sealing the bearing, and replace damaged sealing rings in a timely manner.
Long term storage (such as in winter): Place the rake body on a flat ground, with the disc 5-10cm off the ground (to avoid contact with damp ground and rusting); Hydraulic system pressure relief, oil pipe joint wrapped with dust cover; Spray anti rust paint on the frame and disc (with a focus on welding and wear areas).
Vulnerable parts reserve: It is inconvenient to purchase accessories in hilly areas, so it is necessary to reserve vulnerable parts such as discs (660mm/710mm), bearings, hydraulic seals, etc. in advance to avoid work interruption caused by failures.

1. Structural transformation: Enhance flexibility and stability
Install "anti side pulleys": Install adjustable height auxiliary wheels (with a ground clearance of 5-10cm) on both sides of the rake body. When working on a slope, the auxiliary wheels should be in contact with the ground to limit the lateral movement of the rake body and reduce the pressure on the tractor's steering.
Optimization of hydraulic folding mechanism: For the 1BZ-1.8/2.2 model, the fixed traction frame will be changed to a "retractable traction frame", and the width will be reduced to within 2.0m after folding, suitable for narrower field roads.
Reduce local weight: Without affecting the strength, remove the excess counterweight of the rake body (such as 1BZ-2.2 with a self weight of 1380kg, which can remove 100-150kg of counterweight), reduce the pressure of the whole machine on the slope, and reduce the risk of side slip.
2. Component adaptation: Enhance wear resistance and adaptability
Disc replacement: Replace some of the notched discs with "half notched discs" (halving the depth of the edge notches), which reduces soil adhesion and lateral sliding during slope operations while ensuring soil crushing capacity.
Tire upgrade: Replace 7.00-9 tires with "mountain anti-skid tires" (deepened tread pattern, widened tire body) to improve grip during transitions and operations, avoiding tire slippage.
Install a "depth limiter": Install a mechanical limit device on the hydraulic rod of the rake body, set the maximum plowing depth (such as 15cm), to prevent soil landslides caused by excessive plowing depth due to operational errors during slope operations.
