From inviting international pavilions and visitors to China, to organizing Chinese pavilions to go global, and finally to hosting its own exhibitions abroad, the China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition (CIAME) has become not only a bridge for communication between Chinese and foreign agricultural machinery companies, but also an incubator for global agricultural machinery industry cooperation.
An increasingly clear internationalization strategy is driving the CIAME's growing international presence.
So, what international elements will the 2024 CIAME bring?
It is understood that the 2024 CIAME will include Turkish and Japanese pavilions, in addition to the previously existing German and Italian pavilions.
Turkey's unique geographical location, straddling Asia and Europe, allows its agricultural machinery manufacturing industry to absorb advanced European technology while also benefiting from the robust and durable products of Central Asian countries.
It is reported that Turkish tractors and livestock machinery are its strengths, including products for manure spreading, silage harvesting, and feed mixing, offering reliable quality and excellent value.

This has become a major attraction of the Turkish pavilion.
The Japanese pavilion is highly anticipated for its traditional strengths, such as paddy field machinery and rice machinery. This year, the Japanese pavilion will also showcase some manure handling products. This year, the German pavilion features both mainframe and component manufacturers.
For example, a film baler and a manure spreader are exhibiting in China for the first time. The Italian pavilion features fruit and vegetable machinery and garden machinery, as well as high-quality parts, including irrigation and drainage components and complete sets of parts.
This year, the organizers of the China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition have made significant efforts to attract and organize international visitors.
In addition to the organizers' overseas visitors, partners such as the United Nations Center for Sustainable Development of Agricultural Mechanization and the United Nations World Food Programme, as well as industry associations and professional organizations from other countries, will also organize overseas professional visitors.

Together with the overseas distributors of some companies, this overseas audience will exceed 500 to 600 people.
The 2024 China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition is expected to see a new high in overseas visitors.
"Therefore, the international buyers attending the China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition this year are not only numerous but also highly professional, primarily from the Asia-Pacific region.
There will also be significant attendance from several European countries, as well as African and Oceanian nations, such as Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan," said Sun Can.
Furthermore, the number of international media outlets registered for the China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition this year reached a record high, with nearly 10 media outlets from Germany, France, Japan, Turkey, South Korea, Russia, Bangladesh, and Indonesia.
This year, both Russian and Turkish media outlets are visiting China for the first time. Furthermore, these media outlets are all national agricultural channels of national television stations and are highly influential in their respective countries. These overseas media outlets not only promoted and covered the exhibition throughout, but also expressed a strong willingness to engage in further communication with Chinese media.

"In order to better promote Chinese companies to the world, we have invested heavily in this year's exhibition, hoping to significantly enhance its internationalization. Although the number of international exhibitors is already very good, we still need to invest more in organizing international audiences.
Therefore, we have spared no effort in media publicity and audience organization this year, hoping that the international level of this year's exhibition will be more worthy of people's expectations." said Sun Can.
