According to authoritative public information, France has vigorously promoted agricultural mechanization since the 1950s and achieved comprehensive mechanization in just about 20 years, significantly improving agricultural production efficiency and international competitiveness.

Between 1955 and 1970, the number of tractors on French farms increased from 30000 to 1.7 million, and the number of combine harvesters increased from 4900 to 100000.

By 1970, France had fully achieved agricultural mechanization.

Strong policy support

Strong policy support:

The government encourages farmers to purchase agricultural machinery through measures such as price subsidies, low interest loans (covering more than 50% of self raised funds), tax exemptions for agricultural machinery fuel, and preferential treatment for agricultural electricity.

Establish a nationwide sales and after-sales service network for agricultural machinery to ensure convenient supply and maintenance of parts.

Significant improvement in production efficiency:
The agricultural labor productivity has tripled within 20 years, and the proportion of agricultural labor force to the total population has decreased from nearly 40% in the early 1950s to 2.2%.

France has become the largest agricultural producer in Europe and the second largest exporter of agricultural products in the world, accounting for one-third of the total grain production in Europe.

Significant improvement in production efficiency

Mechanization and collaborative promotion:
Agricultural machinery cooperatives have lowered the threshold for individual farmers to purchase machinery through collective investment and shared use, while cultivating rural social capital and cooperative culture.

The cooperative also promotes the professionalization of operations, outsourcing farming, harvesting, transportation, and other processes to achieve the integration of agriculture, industry, and commerce.
