The multi-way valve combination configuration of tractors is designed according to different working requirements. The following are some common configuration methods and their functions:

Basic configuration
Lifting valve: It is mainly used to control the lifting and lowering of farm tools. By operating this valve, the farm tools can be quickly raised to the required height or smoothly lowered to the ground to adapt to different working scenarios, such as raising the plough when plowing to transfer the plot, and lowering the seeder to the appropriate depth of penetration when sowing.

Directional control valve: It is used to change the flow direction of hydraulic oil, thereby controlling the different movement directions of farm tools. For instance, it can control the hydraulic cylinder to achieve actions such as flipping and extending the farm tools.

For example, when a reversing plough is plowing in different directions, a directional control valve is needed to change the oil inlet and outlet directions of the cylinder to achieve the flipping of the plough body.

Combined configurations for different job requirements
Plowing operations: Usually, lift valves and directional control valves are configured.

The lift valve controls the lifting of the plough to adapt to different soil conditions and tillage depth requirements. The reversing valve can be used to control the flipping of the plough, achieving bidirectional ploughing, improving ploughing efficiency, reducing the number of times the tractor turns around in the field, and lowering soil compaction.

Sowing operation: In addition to the lift valve used to raise and lower the sowing machine, a flow control valve may also be configured.

The flow control valve can precisely control the hydraulic drive speed of the seeder's seed discharge device or fertilizer applicator, thereby accurately adjusting the speed of seed discharge and fertilization according to different crop varieties, sowing density and fertilizer application requirements, ensuring the uniformity and accuracy of sowing and fertilization.

Harvesting operation: For harvesting equipment such as combine harvesters, the combination configuration of multi-way valves is rather complex. In addition to the lift valve used to control the lifting and lowering of the header, there are also multiple directional control valves respectively controlling the lifting and lowering of the threshing wheel, the operation of the conveyor chain, and the rotational speed of the threshing drum, etc.

In addition, a pressure control valve may also be configured to ensure that the hydraulic system can provide stable pressure under different crop yields and harvest conditions, guaranteeing the normal operation of each component and improving harvest efficiency and quality.

Material handling operations: When using a tractor in combination with a loader for material handling, the multi-way valve combination needs to include a lift valve to control the lifting and lowering of the loader's bucket, a reversing valve to control the forward and backward tilting of the bucket, and to control the extension and retraction of the boom.

Some loaders may also be equipped with proportional control valves to precisely control the movements of the bucket and boom, so that they can accurately align with the target position during loading and unloading materials, thereby improving the efficiency and safety of handling.

Advanced configuration and functions

Load-sensitive multi-way valve: This type of valve can automatically adjust the flow and pressure of hydraulic oil according to the load changes of farm tools or working devices, enabling tractors to maintain an efficient and energy-saving operating state under different working conditions.

For instance, when ploughing and encountering situations where the soil hardness varies greatly, the load-sensitive multi-way valve can automatically adjust the lifting force and lowering speed of the plough according to the actual load, ensuring the consistency of the ploughing depth while avoiding overloading of the hydraulic system and energy waste.

Electro-hydraulic proportional multi-way valve: It precisely controls the flow and direction of hydraulic oil through an electronic control system, achieving stepless regulation and precise control of the movements of farm tools.

In some high-precision agricultural operations, such as vegetable transplanting and flower cultivation, electro-hydraulic proportional multi-way valves can precisely control the actions of transplanters or planters based on preset parameters, improving the accuracy and efficiency of the operations and reducing the errors caused by manual operations.

Integrated multi-way valve: It integrates multiple hydraulic valves on a single valve block, reducing pipeline connections and leakage points, and enhancing the reliability and compactness of the system.

Meanwhile, integrated multi-way valves usually have multiple functional interfaces, which can be conveniently connected to different farm tools and working devices to achieve quick replacement and multi-functional operations.

For instance, a tractor equipped with an integrated multi-way valve can complete various operations such as plowing, sowing and fertilizing within a day. It only needs to replace the corresponding farm tools and switch between different operation functions through simple hydraulic pipeline connections and valve block Settings.
