China tractor 904 are equipped with 4-cylinder in-line diesel engines with mature technology. 904 (G4) adopts the Dongfanghong YTN3 or 4A series national IV electronically controlled high-pressure common rail diesel engine, with a calibrated power of 66.8kW and a rated speed of 2200r/min, which can ensure sufficient power during heavy-load operations like plowing.

The power take-off shaft of the 904 tractor is mostly of the rear independent type, which can provide stable power for supporting agricultural implements. The 904 (G4) has a power take-off shaft power of 53.46kW, and the speed can be selected from multiple combinations such as 540/720r/min.

China tractor 904 also supports 540/1000r/min power take-off speed, which is compatible with seeders, fertilizer spreaders, and other equipment that require different speeds.
